Diamond Car Works purchased the remaining assets of Custom Locomotive Works, a Chicago-based manufacturer of miniature railroad equipment known for their detailed models of diesel locomotives, after that firm shut its doors in 2003. Currently on the shop floor at Diamond Car are several CLW diesel locomotives in various stages of construction which are available for purchase. These can be purchased as-is or with the option of having us complete them and providing you with a ready-to-run locomotive.
